Saturday on the farm: A lifestyle post.

Today we visited a little farm near our home in Hampshire and thought I would share some of our family photos from our freezing but lovely day out with you guys.

Today we had a lovely day out at Millers ark farm which is just on the outskirts of Basingstoke. Although the weather is still absolutely freezing we really wanted to get out for some Saturday fresh air. We have visited Millers ark before during the last spring lambing season and we really enjoyed cuddling the new babies. As it's lambing season again we were really excited to return again this year.

As you can see from our family pictures, the farm allows a lot of interaction with the animals. Every pen had a staff member ushering you in to stroke, hold and brush the animals. This has to be our favourite part as most farms don't allow you to do this. This constant interaction makes the animals extremely friendly and tame, preventing those tears when animals have a little nip.

After all the excitement and a thorougher hand scrub, we visited the lovely heated barn they had for a sausage bap and cake. The food was so welcome as our hands were slightly frozen by this point but overall we had a really lovely day. Definitely recommend a visit if you are ever around the area.

Double denim and hearts: an out fit post

How lovely is this denim shirt?! It was the first thing i noticed in Primark on a recent shopping trip. I felt it kind of matched the recent LFW Burberry show with the love heart print. I just love it. Primark are really upping their game with the new spring/ summer collection. I teamed the shirt with my dark blue jeggings but I was a little apprehensive about wearing double denim. However, i think the overall outfit looks OK. The collar necklace came from Ever Ours, a new Internet store i am absolutely loving at the moment. It was a bargain at £2 and i have been wearing it with everything!

What I'm wearing today: the park

Today is Halloween. Yay! After finishing off the last of the pumpkin carvings and decorating our front garden with spooky spiders webs we decided to go for a play in the park. It is raining, typical for Halloween, so I am wearing my favourite red riding hood style coat from Topshop, my new grey jeggings from primark (£7), Chelsea boots £18 from primark and underneath the coat is a plain white vest. Also my brown sactual bag is £8 in primark.

What I am wearing today (ootd). One year anniversary meal.

Today we celebrated our one anniversary. One year already! I wasn't blogging back then so have included a few little pics from our wedding. I wore a gorgeous Mori lee gown which had Chantilly lace, corset top and a black silk sash. We had a lovely day and i cant believe how quickly time has gone. Anyway back to tonight. My lovely husband treated me to an Indian down at our local. Everyone there dresses really casual so i decided to keep my best frock i had planned to wear for another day. The dress i am wearing is a Primark floral tea dress. I love the shape of it and is the perfect length coming just above the knee. Being tall i struggle to find dresses that do not show off the bum cheeks. Primark provided a gold chain belt with this dress but i felt it looked tacky and was too loose so I've swapped it with a black and gold bow belt also from primark. As its freezing outside i have put on my thickest black tights and black ballet pumps. On my wrist is my Jules and James Rose Gold watch from Tx maxx and a bracelet i picked up in Ibiza.

What I'm wearing today. Foggy school run.

Not looking my best today but wanted to start doing a few outfits of the day. My busy life involves walking two miles to school and back in the morning and another two miles in the afternoon. The weather today is awful so excuse the hair.

Today I am wearing my thick black tights, topshop shorts (from last year) and a topshop tea dress brought from eBay, my favourite purchase yet. My cardigan is from primark (current stock) and my coat is also topshop. This coat is military style with a full skirt. Brought this two years ago and so happy the military/ gothic look is back on trend. Nice when that happens and saves on buying a new coat this winter.
On my lips I am wearing my Red Yves Rocher lipstick I received from glossybox this October. First time I ever braved wearing such a deep colour outside my house. Wanted to start being brave and change up my look a little. Does the colour suit me?

Date night ootd

Tonight was a rare chance for me to go out with my lovely husband. This is what I wore.

A light pink Peter pan collar play suit. From the topshop sale for £25.
