Miranda Kerr for Mango.

This week I couldn't help but notice Miranda Kerr's collection at Mango. It is due to be released for their Spring/ summer 2013 collection replacing Kate Moss who has worked with Mango for the past three seasons. I was attracted to the clothing range when i saw the shot of Miranda in a black mini skirt, cropped top and orange blazer ensemble. I wouldn't wear the top and skirt but i love, love the blazer and will be looking out for this one when it's released.

In another shot,  she sits on a stool in a gorgeous comfy knitted jumper and ripped blue jeans. Love the pattern and shape of this jumper.

The only outfit i didn't like was this crop top and double-suede. On Miranda Kerr its going to look hot but on any average girl it may be a little cringe worthy.

The complete set of campaign pictures will be released in February 2013 but you can sneakily see some of the other outfits in the campaign video below.

What do you think of the collection?

Starry eyed.

Hot new trend thats hitting the high street this winter thats paying tribute to the galaxy.

Some background music?

I first discovered this trend while doing my daily search through topshop's lovely website. Their new collection is called 'Galactica'. Im loving the starry prints and metallics. The collection is described:'Welcome to the space age. This season, we’re going back to the future and taking a giant leap for fashion-kind. Our mission? Galactic glamour with a techno twist. Featuring sci-fi print sweaters, metallic flippy skirts and shimmering sheer layering –think hi-shine, hi-tech and graphic to the extreme'. So think lots of glitter, gems and bold prints. My favorite item out of the whole collection is this jumper on the left costing £55. I find it really cute and have tried it on and is actually a nice flattering fit. I had to put it back due the price but still on the look out for a cheaper version in the shops. If anyone finds one let me know. The worst item in the collection is definatly the metallic leggings. The right girl who knows how to style them up will probably look amazing in them but I doubt they will sell well, especially at a cost of £20. What do you think?

Other shops that are bringing in the space age trend are ASOS who's items include this gorgeous space column dress by river island for a bargain price of £22. May have to purchase this.

Country Girl

Trend A/w 12. Tweed and leather.

These photos were taken from the Burberry show at London fashion week this year where the collection was country-inspired. Tweeds, corduroy and herringbone were prominent parts of designer Christopher Baily’s creations for Burberry Prorsum’s Fall 2012 collection. The presentation is typically the largest, and most elaborate, during the week of shows, and featured claps of thunder and real rain against the sides of a glass tent. You can shop the collection here at uk.burberry.com.

The prices for a burberry outfit are more for people on a high budget. I myself could never afford burberry so i have searched the web for similar low budget versions.
