A day in the city: An out fit post

Dress: Primark
Scarf: H&M
Bag: Ebay
Shoes: Office
Jacket: H&M
 Mint Nails: Topshop

Hello

Today i am wearing an outfit that i wouldn't normally wear. I have a few body issues so I tend to stay well clear of horizontal stripes. However, i absolutely love this dress and strangely feel it's quite flattering for my figure. I brought it last year from Primark for my honeymoon in Ibiza and never wore it, so today decided to wear it for the first time. As its so cold today and not really maxi dress weather, i had to team it with my cropped denim jacket from H&m. For a pop of colour i styled the dress with a neon pattern scarf from H&m and cross body bag from Ebay.

If you are interested in my mint nails, the varnish is from Topshop costing £5. Pastel nails have to be favourite shade to wear during spring time.

Double denim and hearts: an out fit post

Shirt: Primark
Jeans: Primark
Boots: Primark
Collar pin: Ever Ours

Hello ♥

How lovely is this denim shirt?! It was the first thing i noticed in Primark on a recent shopping trip. I felt it kind of matched the recent LFW Burberry show with the love heart print. I just love it. Primark are really upping their game with the new spring/ summer collection. I teamed the shirt with my dark blue jeggings but I was a little apprehensive about wearing double denim. However, i think the overall outfit looks OK. The collar necklace came from Ever Ours, a new Internet store i am absolutely loving at the moment. It was a bargain at £2 and i have been wearing it with everything!

Hope you are all having a lovely Thursday?!

What I'm wearing today! Tuesday polka dots.

Dress: Topshop
Shoes: Winsors
Necklace: Primark
Ear Cuff: Primark

Hello

Well today i have decided to post another outfit of the day. I hope you like it! This morning we woke up with the plan to laze about in our PJs due to everyone being poorly, yet again! I have been running around playing nurse for so long now. Thank goodness its half term. With it being sunny, i really didn't want to waste the day again. So, i made everyone dress up for a day of productivity. We have been out for a play in the park, scrubbed the house, and fixed up the garden a little ready for spring.

My outfit:
I brought this dress last year from Topshop after seeing Kelly brook in a magazine wearing the brown version. I loved the vintage, glamorous look to it and is perfect to dress down for day time and to dress up for night time. Also last year i went went through a polka dot phrase but still have much love for this dress. Its one of the things i love about Topshop, certain pieces are just timeless and last years.

Hope you are all having a lovely Tuesday.

Outfit of the day: Aztec velvet

Dress: Topshop
Blazer: Primark
Necklace and Bracelet: River Island
 Ballet pumps: New Look

Hello ★,

Wow, last weekend went fast and I can't believe it's Monday already! I hope you all had a lovely weekend whether that has been relaxing, shopping or enjoying London Fashion Week where i wish i was right now! Maybe next year. Unfortunately we could not get out and enjoy the sunshine due to my youngest being very poorly with a bug, so our weekend was spent on the sofa watching Disney DVDs which was actually very enjoyable.
Today I ventured outside as it was so beautiful and sunny to take some photos. A little too sunny, hence the squint in my eyes but still my husband is improving in his photography. Recently, I have won a bid on Ebay for a posh new camera for him to use, so that will hopefully improve the quality of the photos i post on here.

My outfit:
The burgundy blazer i am wearing is from Primark. I brought it just recently so will still be in store if you would like one for yourself. I can't remember the price but I think it is around £15 to £18. My favourite feature of this blazer is the ability to roll the sleeves up or down, depending on your preferences. I have found most blazers to have the sleeves sewn in at elbow length which i find really frustrating.  The beautiful Velvet Aztec print dress was an amazing find in the Topshop sale. It has to be my favourite dress in my wardrobe at the moment.  The length is perfect enough not to worry about my cheeks showing and it also features 3/4 length sleeves which is great for when i have arm confidence issues, if you know what i mean?

Hope Today hasn't been to painful for you. Monday is always a struggle to get through. Thank you very much for visiting me.

P.s Have you seen my giveaway to win a £20 Amazon gift card? Its just my little way of saying thank you to all my followers.

A cat jumper and a photo bombing dog.

Jumper - Ever Ours
Jeans - Primark
Shirt - Topshop
Hiking Boots - Amazon
Earcuff - Topshop

Hello ★

Happy Thursday. Its nearly the weekend thank goodness. Been feeling this week has been going a little slow. Today i thought i would show you this amazing cat jumper from Ever Ours which costs only £5. Amazing. I feel it is defiantly worth more as the material is so thick and warm. What do you think of it?

I have been wearing this jumper to death since the postman pushed it through my letter box, and i love that i can wear it with my large collection of collars and shirts. Also as the jumper is a longer length, i can wear it with leggings/ disco pants. The perfect jumper in my opinion.

I first discovered Ever Ours through twitter and immediately fell in love with everything in their shop. The prices are crazy cheap to. I have also brought their skull shirt which i plan to write up a post about at the weekend. Their customer service is amazing, only made better by the fact they included the cutest little mouse ring in my parcel.

A Weekend of Les Mis and a few outfits ★

Hello my lovely readers ♥

I was going to start posting 'what I'm wearing today'  posts but this weekend i have been rather busy with the family to sit down at my computer. So I'm am just going to compile my pictures into one big post.

Friday

Friday nights are spent with friends at our local family friendly pub. We like to chat about the week and let the kids run around with their friends. Everyone normally dresses very casual here but as i have spent all week in leggings, wellies and baggy tops i wanted to make some effort.

I wore a white dress with a peter pan collar from my favourite shop Primark. It has a horse and woodland print with a purple belt. For some reason i find myself buying a lot of clothing items that have collars, i just love them.  This dress was in the summer 2012 sale for £5. Bargain.

Saturday

I have a little more to say about Saturday. Today was the day i finally got to see Les Miserables at the cinema. If you follow me on Twitter or are friends with me on facebook you'll know that i am a massive Les Miserables geek. I have all the cast recordings, seen every film made and been to the queens theatre twice. My review of the film? I can't say i was happy with it entirely. I'm sorry to say Russell Crowe ruined it for me. He is not a singer bless him. When he started to sing one of my fav songs 'Stars' i was so disappointed. Also as much as i was impressed with Amanda Seyfield's singing in Mamma Mia, i felt see struggled with the high notes playing Cosette. Hugh Jackman was amazing though and I admit i cried when Anne Hathaway performed 'I dreamed a dream'. So emotional and so perfect. My favourite girl was of course Samantha barks. She is the one and only Epoinine. She really should have got more credit for her role. Have you seen the film yet? Let me know your thoughts on it or if you are also a fellow Les Miserables geek.

As the film is a massive three hours long i decided to dress comfy casual. I wore my favourite Atticus jumper from Play.com, (I'm sorry i cannot remember how much this cost), with my grey skinny jeans from Primark.

Sunday

Today we woke up with the intention of having a very lazy Sunday. It has been a very busy week for us with work, extreme house cleaning, school and job hunting. However while making breakfast we realised we had no food in the cupboards so a quick shopping trip was needed. Yesterday before the cinema, i sneakily ran in to Topshop to see what was left on the sale rails. I found this dress which i have actually been after for a while now. It cost me £20 reduced from £38. Even though it may be a little to dressy for food shopping i still cant help showing off my new purchases.

It is a deep red skater dress with capped sleeves. The material is textured and thick, ideal for the winter. Also the dress is stretchy which i love even though the dress is unfortunately a size to big due to being the only one left. I teamed it with my favourite Primark bow belt, black wooly tights and my Chelsea boots also Primark.

Let me know your thoughts on the Les miserables film.
Thanks for reading.

What I wore on Christmas day.

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you had a great time with family and friends. Me and my family had a wonderful day and were very spoilt. Think I ate too much but that's what makes Christmas. What did you all get for Christmas? Leave me a comment below, I'm a nosey little blogger! I got some lovely makeup, lady Gaga's perfume, a vintage radio and many more. I will upload a post on all my presents soon.

Yesterday we spent all day at home as the British weather is awful at the moment. I still made a slight effort though in dressing up for the occasion. I wore a silky red dress from Topshop (brought last year) with my black tights. In my ear is a cuff from Topshop, and I'm wearing Red lipstick from Rimmel. Please excuse the blurry pictures. After twenty attempts of getting my son to take my picture this was the best one.

*Sunday outfit*

deeruntitled

This weekend has been a lovely, relaxed, chilled time. We decided not to leave the house at all and ive loved it. Today, my husband's Dad came to visit and i made a lovely sunday lunch. Knowing pyjamas wouldn't be suitable, i made a little bit of effort in my appearance today.

It is freezing at the moment, so went with a burgundy wool skirt paired with black woolly tights. These were both from Primark. I spent ages this morning trying to find a nice top to go with the skirt but eventually decided to wear just a basic v neck black tshirt from H&M which i have tucked into to the skirt.

On Ebay a while back i discovered some lovely Kitsch jewellery pieces. I brought my deer necklace from a shop called Melo Yumi. I love the length of the chain. Its the perfect length for me as i sometimes find necklaces quite restricting and uncomfortable.

Also from Ebay is my cute claw ring. This was a bargain at £1. Unfortunalty the metal turns my finger green if i wear it for too long so only wear it for nights out.

How are you lovely people spending your weekends?
