A day in the city: An out fit post

Dress: Primark
Scarf: H&M
Bag: Ebay
Shoes: Office
Jacket: H&M
 Mint Nails: Topshop

Hello

Today i am wearing an outfit that i wouldn't normally wear. I have a few body issues so I tend to stay well clear of horizontal stripes. However, i absolutely love this dress and strangely feel it's quite flattering for my figure. I brought it last year from Primark for my honeymoon in Ibiza and never wore it, so today decided to wear it for the first time. As its so cold today and not really maxi dress weather, i had to team it with my cropped denim jacket from H&m. For a pop of colour i styled the dress with a neon pattern scarf from H&m and cross body bag from Ebay.

If you are interested in my mint nails, the varnish is from Topshop costing £5. Pastel nails have to be favourite shade to wear during spring time.

Double denim and hearts: an out fit post

Shirt: Primark
Jeans: Primark
Boots: Primark
Collar pin: Ever Ours

Hello ♥

How lovely is this denim shirt?! It was the first thing i noticed in Primark on a recent shopping trip. I felt it kind of matched the recent LFW Burberry show with the love heart print. I just love it. Primark are really upping their game with the new spring/ summer collection. I teamed the shirt with my dark blue jeggings but I was a little apprehensive about wearing double denim. However, i think the overall outfit looks OK. The collar necklace came from Ever Ours, a new Internet store i am absolutely loving at the moment. It was a bargain at £2 and i have been wearing it with everything!

Hope you are all having a lovely Thursday?!

What I'm wearing today! Tuesday polka dots.

Dress: Topshop
Shoes: Winsors
Necklace: Primark
Ear Cuff: Primark

Hello

Well today i have decided to post another outfit of the day. I hope you like it! This morning we woke up with the plan to laze about in our PJs due to everyone being poorly, yet again! I have been running around playing nurse for so long now. Thank goodness its half term. With it being sunny, i really didn't want to waste the day again. So, i made everyone dress up for a day of productivity. We have been out for a play in the park, scrubbed the house, and fixed up the garden a little ready for spring.

My outfit:
I brought this dress last year from Topshop after seeing Kelly brook in a magazine wearing the brown version. I loved the vintage, glamorous look to it and is perfect to dress down for day time and to dress up for night time. Also last year i went went through a polka dot phrase but still have much love for this dress. Its one of the things i love about Topshop, certain pieces are just timeless and last years.

Hope you are all having a lovely Tuesday.

Outfit of the day: Aztec velvet

Dress: Topshop
Blazer: Primark
Necklace and Bracelet: River Island
 Ballet pumps: New Look

Hello ★,

Wow, last weekend went fast and I can't believe it's Monday already! I hope you all had a lovely weekend whether that has been relaxing, shopping or enjoying London Fashion Week where i wish i was right now! Maybe next year. Unfortunately we could not get out and enjoy the sunshine due to my youngest being very poorly with a bug, so our weekend was spent on the sofa watching Disney DVDs which was actually very enjoyable.
Today I ventured outside as it was so beautiful and sunny to take some photos. A little too sunny, hence the squint in my eyes but still my husband is improving in his photography. Recently, I have won a bid on Ebay for a posh new camera for him to use, so that will hopefully improve the quality of the photos i post on here.

My outfit:
The burgundy blazer i am wearing is from Primark. I brought it just recently so will still be in store if you would like one for yourself. I can't remember the price but I think it is around £15 to £18. My favourite feature of this blazer is the ability to roll the sleeves up or down, depending on your preferences. I have found most blazers to have the sleeves sewn in at elbow length which i find really frustrating.  The beautiful Velvet Aztec print dress was an amazing find in the Topshop sale. It has to be my favourite dress in my wardrobe at the moment.  The length is perfect enough not to worry about my cheeks showing and it also features 3/4 length sleeves which is great for when i have arm confidence issues, if you know what i mean?

Hope Today hasn't been to painful for you. Monday is always a struggle to get through. Thank you very much for visiting me.

P.s Have you seen my giveaway to win a £20 Amazon gift card? Its just my little way of saying thank you to all my followers.

I belong with you... : An out fit post.

Skirt Topshop/ Vest Primark / Tights Primark / Cardigan H&M / Collar Primark / Boots Primark

Hello

Happy Monday. Today me and the family are having a bit of lazy day due to horrible sickness but are still trying to have a productive day. As it is snowing here in Hampshire (again!) i thought i would take some pictures outside. Although a pain in the arse, snow is actually really pretty and makes great photos. I found this red skater skirt hiding in my wardrobe with the label still attached this morning so I thought it is about time i wore it. I love wearing a pop of colour with black. It just makes a simple outfit stand out.

What are you all up to today?

Floral boots and swallow collars: an outfit post.

Hello ♥

Happy Wednesday! I hope you all have had a lovely day today? Today i was planning on writing up a Primark haul but decided to turn it into a couple of outfit posts. I feel clothes can be seen better on a person rather than displayed on a bed. Everything you can see on me above was brought in Primark at the weekend so will still be in stock if you see something you like.

The Swallow blouse cost £10 and also comes in white. I was stood in the shop for a while debating which colour to get. I even stopped a lady for advice and she said the white one. I went with the black in the end as wearing white with two children and a shredding Labrador can be disastrous. Although, my next visit to Primark might see me buying the white blouse. I love the collar so much especially when i wear it with a round neck jumper. So cute.

The boots were my best buy at £18. I have been after a pair of Doc Martens for so long. I can never afford them but when i found these in Primark, i got slightly excited. They're a near copy, not exact. The material is not leather but a thick canvas type. They had many different varieties of colours but i decided on the floral pattern. Felt they will look lovely with a dress in the summer.

I have a few more items to show off in up coming posts. Stay tuned.

A cat jumper and a photo bombing dog.

Jumper - Ever Ours
Jeans - Primark
Shirt - Topshop
Hiking Boots - Amazon
Earcuff - Topshop

Hello ★

Happy Thursday. Its nearly the weekend thank goodness. Been feeling this week has been going a little slow. Today i thought i would show you this amazing cat jumper from Ever Ours which costs only £5. Amazing. I feel it is defiantly worth more as the material is so thick and warm. What do you think of it?

I have been wearing this jumper to death since the postman pushed it through my letter box, and i love that i can wear it with my large collection of collars and shirts. Also as the jumper is a longer length, i can wear it with leggings/ disco pants. The perfect jumper in my opinion.

I first discovered Ever Ours through twitter and immediately fell in love with everything in their shop. The prices are crazy cheap to. I have also brought their skull shirt which i plan to write up a post about at the weekend. Their customer service is amazing, only made better by the fact they included the cutest little mouse ring in my parcel.

A very Casual Sunday

Happy Sunday ★

Sunday really is my favourite day of the week although it would be so much better if we didn't have those bad feelings, knowing Monday is tomorrow. Our Sunday was spent going on a lovely long walk with the dog followed by a coma inducing beef stew and our homemade double chocolate cake. The perfect meal to warm us up. Yesterday i had hoped that the snow would melt a little enabling us to get our car to the supermarket for food but mother nature decided to release more snow on us today. Good for my diet i suppose. The rest of the day has been spent having many snow ball fights in the garden followed by a harry potter film marathon.

My outfit that I am wearing today consists of my favourite winter essential from Animal. It is a lovely plum wool skater style dress. Really warm and appropriate for today. I brought it a few years ago in the sale for around £15. I brought the coat from Ebay but is from Florence and Fred and the bracelets and necklace are from Salt rock.

How have you been spending your sunday?

Another snow day...

Coat Topshop/ Skater tshirt dress £12.99 Missguided/ Wellington boots £10 Primark/ Hat Primark/ Gloves Topshop/ Tights Primark/

Hello ☃
Another freezing cold day in England today and i am sorry another snow post. I can't help myself. The snow makes everything so beautiful and is so much fun to play in.

There has been no new snow falls over night but the ground is still covered meaning another day locked up at home. Today has been spent building snowmen, throwing snowballs and watching the Muppet's movie.

I hope you are all having a lovely Saturday whether your warming your toes at home or are out working/ playing.

Primark and Topshop winter 2012 shopping haul

195794_59672929326_966890872_n
I woke up this morning and felt really rubbish. Winter blues i think. The only thing i could think of to make me feel better was a little retail therapy. I still needed a few more winter clothes and the boys also needed new outfits. Below is the outfit i wore today. (Please excuse the poor photo, I had no one to take it for me.) I am wearing my pearl collar necklace, a black jersey peplum top, and blue jeggings. All from Primark and featured in a previous haul.

Topshop buys

Topshop had a little sale on but there was nothing really there that had the wow factor for me. I have to really love something to buy it. I did find these two cute bracelets for £2.50 each. One has distressed gold look cats and the other has black skulls. Been after some arm candy for a while and these being stretchy are ideal for going over my big hands. The other item i purchased was a Tee and Cake Dinosaur tshirt which my Dino loving boys made me buy. This was £20, I really love the fit and its RAWRSOMENESS.

Primark buys

I wasn't going to go to primark today cause i feel like I'm always there and this blog is fast becoming a Primark only haul fest. People seem to enjoy them the most though and i love Primark so why not. It was extremely busy in there today. With Christmas fast approaching, (seven Saturdays to go!!) its going to be a nightmare in there for a while. Managed to finds some lovely things for evenings out and casual daytime.

I'm really loving studs at the moment. Think its the inner rock child coming out of me. The top picture is a black peplum and is my favourite buy of today. I love it so much. It has a sweetheart neck with mesh straps and was a bargain at £8.00. The bottom picture is a black gold studded tshirt which cost £6.00. I liked its dipped hem and would look great paired with a pair of skinny jeans and heels.

This vest stood out for me in the shop due the cute gold trim on the collar. Collars seem to be really big for autumn/ winter and this vest was a good find at £6.00.

Leather gloves are my top recommendation this winter. They go with any outfit and look super stylish. I loved the studs on these and are surprisingly soft inside. They cost £12.00 which is normally a little more than what i would pay as I'm very good at loosing gloves but i just had to have them.

I love all my dresses in my wardrobe that I brought for summer so these thick tights are a necessity if I want to keep wearing them through the winter. Got two pairs for £4.00. Bargain.

Fur snoods!
This winter I'm going through a fur craze (fake of course). Its super soft and warm and makes an outfit look vintage and stylish. I'm loving the fur collars that are currently in the shops but today i couldn't find one. They are prefect for bringing an old winter coat a new lease of life . I Will have to search the Internet for one.
This black fur snood was £6.00 in Primark. I am finding the snood a little big and will probably take some getting used to but by the time winter comes i think its going to be great to bury my face in. The bottom snood is not from Primark but from Ebay and has  a gorgeous soft leopard print and silk lining. A much better quality than the primark one and was around the same price at £5.99.

Final buy were these fun Christmas jumpers for my two boys. They really wanted them so i cant be labelled as one of those embarrassing mums. They were £7.00 each and also come in adults sizes. May be quite fun to all be matching on Christmas day but I doubt my husband would wear one. I know it is too early but wanted to buy them before they sell out. The kids even saw Santa today, now that's too early.
